Josh was the Cougars first pick, 19th overall, in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft...Played his first Western Hockey League game February 24 in Prince George against the Seattle Thunderbirds, getting into his first WHL fight...Recorded his first WHL point with an assist on March 6, 2010 vs. Everett...Played the 2009-10 season with the UFA Bisons of the Alberta Major Midget Hockey League...Prior to being drafted by the Cougars, Josh played for the Red Deer Bantam Blacks of the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League, scoring 9 goals and 18 points in 28 games and compiling 140 penalty minutes.
