Acquired in a trade from the Prince Albert Raiders in January, 2009...Started last season for the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League, where he played for current Cougars Assistant Coach Jeff Battah...Played his first Western Hockey League game January 9, 2009 at Everett...Recorded his first WHL point January 21, 2009 at Edmonton, with an assist against the Oil Kings...First WHL goal was a playoff shorthanded marker in game one of the Cougars 2009 first round series against the Vancouver Giants on March 20...Scored the Cougars first goal of the 2009-10 regular season at the 2:22 mark of the first period on September 18 against the Spokane Chiefs...Prior to playing junior, Ciolfi played for the Lethbridge Y's Men Titans of the Alberta Major Midget Hockey League, collecting 20 goals and 38 points in 34 games.
