Played his first Western Hockey League game on September 21, 2007 against the Calgary Hitmen in Calgary for the Red Deer Rebels...Recorded his first point in the WHL on September 25, 2007 against the Edmonton Oil Kings in Red Deer...Scored his first WHL goal on October 26, 2007 against the Swift Current Broncos in Red Deer...Played 41 games for the Rebels in 07-08 but was sent that season to the Regina Pats, where he would play 18 games, getting a goal and six points...Acquired by the Cougars in September 2008 in a trade with the Pats...Scored 13 goals and 38 points in 67 games for the Cougars last season and was an Assistant Captain...Recorded a career best 4 assists in a game against the Kamloops Blazers on January 2, 2010...Prior to playing in the WHL, Jackson played for the St. Albert Sports Raiders in the Alberta Major Midget Hockey League, collecting 16 goals and 34 points in 32 games in 2006-07...Jackson was a North Division First Team All-Star at the 2007 AMHL All-Star Game.
