Drafted by the Cougars in the second round, 65th overall in the 2008 CHL Import Draft...Played his first Western Hockey League game for the Cougars on September 19, 2008 against the Seattle Thunderbirds in Prince George...Scored his first goal and point on September 27, 2008 against the Bruins in Chilliwack.  Scored 16 goals and had 40 points in 59 games last season for the Cougars...Was named to the Slovak national team for the 2009 World Junior Hockey Championship in Ottawa, ON, collecting four assists in seven games, helping Slovakia to a fourth place finish.
