Drafted by the Cougars in the 11th round, 230th overall in the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft...Played his first Western Hockey League game for the Cougars on December 12 at home against the Medicine Hat Tigers...Scored his first WHL goal and point in his second game, December 15 against the Kamloops Blazers, which was the Teddy Bear and Toque Toss goal...Had his first three point game in Vancouver on December 30, 2009...Originally wore #29, played 4 games as an underager in 2007-08...Took on #12 last season and is in his second full year with the Cougars after two goals and three points in 2008-09...Played for the Vancouver North East Chiefs in the BC Major Midget AAA Hockey League and was a teammate of Cougars defencman Bruin McDonald, scoring 24 goals and added 24 assists in 39 games in 2007-08.
