Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths Player Of The Month
For the 2011/2012 season Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths and the Prince George Cougars teamed up to bring you the “Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths Player of the Month”. Each month, fans were encouraged to vote online for the player they felt provided that extra spark and inspired their teammates.
At the end of the season, fans had the opportunity to cast their votes between the four players who top honours for the months of October through February. Fans voted Drew Owsley the Player of the Year, winning him a 14kt handcrafted ring designed and created by Darrell Hubbell of Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths. Owsley received 57% of the over 800 votes. The ring was presented at the final home game of the season on Saturday, March 17, 2012.
Monthly awards were presented to the Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths Player of the Month at the following games:
Saturday, October 29 vs. Vancouver Giants WINNER- #19 Jordan Tkatch
Tuesday, December 6 vs. Portland Winterhawks WINNER- #16 Spencer Asuchak
Friday, January 6 vs. Kamloops Blazers WINNER- #30 Drew Owsley
Friday, February 3 vs. Kelowna Rockets WINNER- #30 Drew Owsley
Tuesday, March 6 vs. Spokane Chiefs- WINNER- #12 Daulton Siwak
