2nd Annual Clean Out The Closet Game Next Wednesday vs. ChilliwackNews 2009-10Mar 5 20102nd Annual Clean Out The Closet Game Next Wednesday vs. ChilliwackPRINCE GEORGE, BC – The Prince George Cougars invite fans to bring donations of gently used clothing and household items to CN Centre as the Cougars play their final home game of the season against the Chilliwack Bruins on Wednesday, March 10th. Items will be collected on behalf of The Salvation Army as part of the 2nd Annual Clean Out The Closet game. Donations will be used to support local Salvation Army programs. Fans will also have the chance to win giveaways as the Cougars clean out the promo closet. “This game was a huge success last season and we are looking forward to great fan support again this year,” said Cougars Vice President Brandi Brodsky. “Fans who are doing their spring cleaning can save themselves a trip by bringing their donations directly to the game.” Also that evening the Cougars will be presenting the team awards for Most Valuable Player, Most Dedicated Player, Rookie of the Year, Scholastic Player of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. In addition, the player to receive the most cumulative fan votes this season for the Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths Player of the Month poll will be presented with a hand-made 14kt yellow and white gold ring adorned with the Cougars logo, courtesy of Darrell Hubbell. |
