Schedule Set For Cougars and Giants Playoff SeriesNews 2008-09Mar 9 2009Schedule Set For Cougars and Giants Playoff SeriesPrince George, BC – The Prince George Cougars and the Vancouver Giants will begin their first round WHL playoff series on Friday, March 20 in Vancouver. Dates and times have been finalized for the Cougars/Giants series, the third meeting all-time between the two clubs in post season play. The Giants won the first two playoff clashes in five games in the first round of 2006 and in the Western Conference final in 2007. The Cougars will host game three of the series on Tuesday, March 24 and game 4 on Wednesday, March 25, both starting at 7:00 at CN Centre. Tickets will go on sale at Ticketmaster this Wednesday morning starting at 10am. Game six, if necessary, will be played on Sunday, March 29, starting at 2:00 at CN Centre.
