Cougars Release Deagle

Prince George, BC- The Prince George Cougars have released 19-year old Forward Jordie Deagle, pending re-assignment.

Deagle was originally a 1’st round pick of the Medicine Hat Tigers in 2004. Acquired by the Cougars to start the 2006-2007 season, Deagle played in 139 games for the Cougars posting 13 goals and 22 assists.

Cougars General Manager Dallas Thompson commented. “The Cougars would like to thank Jordie for his time in Prince George; he was a quality individual who represented his team very well in the community. With the emergence of some our younger players it was important to allow them the chance to develop.”
