Tyrell invited to Hockey Canada's Summer Camp

The Prince George Cougars are pleased to announce that forward Dana Tyrell has been invited to appear in Hockey Canada’s Summer Development Camp which will be held July 25th to 28th in Ottawa, Ontario.
The National Junior Team development camp is the first step in a process that Hockey Canada follows to name Canada’s National Junior Team roster in December.  In late November or early December, Hockey Canada will invite a shorter list of players to the National Junior Team selection camp, which will take place in mid-December in Ottawa. Tyrell was one of 40 players named to the Development Camp.
The 5’11”, 180 pound Tyrell is coming off a career year for the Cougars. In 68 games, Tyrell posted 25 goals and 65 points. Tampa Bay’s 2nd round pick went on to play in 11 games with the AHL’s Norfolk Admirals where he notched 1 goal and 5 assists.
