Cougars select Viedensky with the 65th pick

Prince George, BC -- The Prince George Cougars are pleased to announce the selection of Marek Viedensky of Slovakia with the 65^th selection in the 2008 CHL Import Draft.

Viedensky, a 6’3”, 194 pound centre was born in Handlova, Slovakia on August 18^th, 1990. In 33 games for the Trencin Jrs. He posted 11 g 15a 26 points. During the U-18 World Championships in Russia, Viedensky had a 1 goal and 5 assists to go along with 6 penalty minutes in 6 games. He was also a +4 in the tournament.
