The CHL Announces the Player of the Year Award

The 2002 Bauer/Nike Hockey CHL Player of the Year Award has been awarded to Chicoutimi Sagueneens centre Pierre-Marc Bouchard of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Bouchard beat out the Western Hockey League Player of the Year, defenseman Dan Hamhuis of the Prince George Cougars and the Ontario Hockey League Player of the Year, forward Brad Boyes of the Erie Otters.
