Memorial Cup
The 2002 MasterCard Memorial Cup opens the afternoon of Saturday, May 18, in Guelph, Ontario and continues until the championship game, Sunday, May 26th at noon. Information on the 2002 MasterCard Memorial Cup tournament can be obtained at www.memorialcup.net.
Former Cougar – Trent Hunter
Former Cougar player, Trent Hunter, is leading the Bridgeport Sound Tigers towards winning the American Hockey League Championship. Hunter scored the game-winner for the second consecutive night as the Bridgeport Sound Tigers defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs earning the game’s top star for the second consecutive night. Currently Hunter has 4 goals and 9 assists.
