Cougars Make Import Draft Selection

PRINCE GEORGE, BC- With the 35th selection in the 2006 CHL Import Draft, the Prince George Cougars have selected 17 year old defenseman Patrik Vrana (“Vran-Ah”).

Vrana, a 6’4”, 215 lbs. product of the Czech Republic, skated in 35 games with Sparta Praha last season, registering 2 goals, 12 assists, 14 points, and 60 PIM.

“Patrik is an extremely versatile defenseman who brings good skating and mobility to our blueline”, states Cougars General Manager, Dallas Thompson.
