Cats Acquire Russian Left Winger

PRINCE GEORGE, BC- With the 66^th pick in the 2005 CHL Import Draft, the Prince George Cougars have acquired 18 year old left winger Alexandre Alexandrov (“Alex-Ann-Dray Alex-Ann-Drov”) of Neftekhimik, Russia.

The 6’0”, 185 lbs. Alexandrov skated in 56 games with his native Neftekhimik Youth and HC Senior team’s in 2004/05, recording 14 goals and 16 assists.

The Cougars are looking forward to welcoming both Fred Wikner and Alexandre Alexandrov to training camp in late August.

The Cougars will be releasing the 2005/2006 season schedule in early August.
