Rogers Receives Junior National Team Tryout

PRINCE GEORGE, BC- The Prince George Cougars are proud to announce that left defenseman Andy Rogers has been selected to attend Canada’s National Junior Team Development Camp.

Rogers, a 6’5”, 206 lbs product of Calgary, AB, skated in 58 games with Calgary and Prince George last season, registering 2 goals, 9 assists, for 11 points. The 2004 1^st round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning added 85 PIM’s during his 2004-05 campaign.

The 2005 National Junior Team Development Camp will be held in Whistler, BC, August 10-15, 2005. Vancouver, Kelowna and Kamloops, BC will host the 2006 IIHF World Junior Championship, December 26, 2005 – January 5, 2006.
