Wishart Earns U-18 Tryout

PRINCE GEORGE, BC- The Prince George Cougars are proud to announce that left defenseman Ty Wishart has been selected to attend Canada’s National Under 18 Development Camp from July 30-August 5 in Kitchener, ON.

Wishart, a 6’5”, 189 lbs product of Comox, BC, skated in 58 games with the Cougars last season, registering 1 goal, 7 assists, and 41 PIM’s.

Canada will participate in two major international Under-18 events in 2005-2006 – one in August and another in April. Canada has participated in an August Under-18 Tournament in Europe since 1997, capturing gold at seven of the eight events, and winning gold last year.
