Cougars Land 6th, 7th, and 8th Round Prospects
Due to a January 9, 2005 trade with Spokane, that saw overager Danny Lapointe shipped to the Chiefs, the 6th Round 112th overall pick, originally held by Red Deer, has yielded Taylor Stefishen. Stefishen, a 5’9”, 145 lb forward, hails from North Vancouver, BC.
With the 127th overall pick in the 7th round, the Prince George Cougars, via Tri-Cities acquisition of Nick Olynyk in 2004, have landed 6’2, 185 lbs defenseman, Terrence Jorgenson. Jorgenson, is a product of Canora, SK. Round 8 selection: (#144) – Mitchell Stretch, 03-01-90, defense, Saskatoon, SK. 6’0, 145.
