Cougars Acquire New TrainerNews 2003-04Jun 17 2004Cougars Acquire New TrainerThe Prince George Cougars are proud to announce the signing of Brad Collins as the teams new Athletic Therapist and Equipment Manager, effective August 1, 2004. Collins, who inked a 2 year deal with the “Cats”, comes via the Regina Pats of the WHL, where he was the club’s Athletic Trainer and Equipment Manager for the past 2 seasons. Prior to his time with the Pats, Collins also spent a year with Tri Cities as the Americans trainer and strength coach. "I am extremely excited about joining the Prince George Cougars Hockey Club. The opportunity to work with a quality organization such as this one is outstanding. I would like to thank the Brodsky Family, Dallas Thompson and Lane Lambert for this fantastic opportunity", says Collins. Collins, a graduate of Bemidji State University (Associated Degree in Physical Education and Minor in Athletic Training), brings valued knowledge and WHL experience to the Cougars. The skills acquired from his diverse background will be of great benefit to both the coaching staff and its players. |
