Jeff joins the Cougars as Assistant Coach after spending the first half of the season as the Head Coach and General Manager of the Drayton Valley Thunder of the AJHL. Previous to this season, Jeff spent four years with the Lethbridge Hurricanes as an Assistant Coach, where they were WHL finalists in 2007-08. He also worked with Hockey Canada and was a member of Canada’s coaching staff when they won gold at the 2005 World U-18 Championship. Prior to joining Lethbridge, Jeff was an assistant coach in the Ontario Provincial Junior “A” League for three seasons coaching in Brampton and Milton.  While coaching in Milton they finished the 2002-03 season with a record of 41-6-2 (6^th in Canada). In 2002 Jeff was an assistant coach with the Brampton Capitals, winning the Ontario Provincial Junior “A” League Championship. He also likes to spend his off-season in the rocky mountains, running hockey schools for his company Pro Goal Development, or spending time with his fiance, Jamee, and their two golden retrievers (Copper and Maya).
