A player and coach for over twenty years, Drew Schoneck joined the Cougars as Head Coach in 2006, leading the team to the Western Conference Final in the 2006/2007 season. He began his career as an Assistant Coach with the Kelowna Rockets in 1998 after playing for the Canadian Men’s National Hockey Team. Drew continued on in the role of Assistant Coach for teams such as the Columbus Cottonmouths, Prince Albert Raiders and Fresno Falcons before landing a position as the General Manager and Head Coach of the OCN Blizzard in 2006. He is a sports fan who spends his off-ice time golfing, playing softball and working on crossword puzzles. |
