When the 2010-11 season kicks off in September, it will mark the 17th season for the Prince George Cougars in BC’s Northern Capital. From the moment the Cougars arrived from Victoria in 1994, the community of Prince George has embraced the team and the Western Hockey League and for many years, Prince George has been considered one of the strongest WHL markets. The Cougars continue with a strong tradition of on-ice competitiveness and off-ice excellence, in community activities and academic achievement.
