Rogers Receives Junior National Team Tryout by PG Cougars
The Prince George Cougars are proud to announce that left defenseman Andy Rogers has been selected to attend Canada’s National Junior Team Development Camp. Rogers, a 6’5”, 206 lbs product of Calgary, AB, skated in 58 games with Calgary and Prince George last season, registering 2 goals, 9 assists, for 11 points. The 2004 1st round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning added 85 PIM’s during his 2004-05 campaign. The 2005 National Junior Team Development Camp will be held in Whistler, BC, August 10-15, 2005. Vancouver, Kelowna and Kamloops, BC will host the 2006 IIHF World Junior Championship, December 26, 2005 – January 5, 2006.
