Cougars Select Forsberg 11th Overall

Prince George, B.C. - With their first selection, 11^th overall in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft the Prince George Cougars are pleased to announce that they have selected Defenceman Jesse Forsberg from Waldheim Saskatchewan.

Forsberg is 6’0” 175 pounds. He spent the 2007-2008 season with the Warman Wildcats Bantam AA.

Prince George Cougars General Manager Dallas Thompson stated “Jesse played on the Warman Wildcats who participated in the Western Canadian Bantam Championships. He was a leader on his team and we are very excited to have him.”
