"Play a Brodsky" Table Hockey Event by PG Cougars
Maple Leaf Meats along with 99.3 The Drive, 101.3 The River, PGTV and the Prince George Cougars are pleased to present “Play a Brodsky.” The table top hockey event will take place at the Spruceland Save On Foods on Tuesday, April 1, from 4:00-5:30pm where fans will have the opportunity to take on members of the Prince George Cougars Hockey club and win various prizes. Prince George Cougars Owner, Rick Brodsky, along with Business Manager, Brandi Brodsky, will be joined by players Alex Wright and Brett Connolly, to test their table hockey skills. Garrett and Brett will also be available to sign autographs. Kids can come on down to see Cougars’ mascot, Rowdy Cat and the Maple Leaf Meats Elephant in action as they entertain the crowd with some pre-game fun and demonstrate the ins and outs of the game. Contestent hopefuls may enter the draw between 3:30 and 4:00pm at the Save On Foods location. The finalists’ names will be drawn at 4:00pm sharp with games beginning immediately afterwards. During the event, the crowd can enjoy hot dogs and pop provided by Save On Foods, with all proceeds benefitting the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prince George. The winner of the event will take home a Cougars jersey autographed by the entire team while each of the three runners up will be awarded a Maple Leaf gift pack valued at $75.
